Our Boiler Installation Process
There are a number of steps involved with having a new boiler heating system installed in your home. The steps of getting a new boiler installed are as follows:
First
Schedule a free consultation with our boiler installation service professionals and receive a free quote on the installation cost.
Second
One of our installation specialists will come to your home and perform a pre-installation evaluation. During this time they will determine what the boiler capacity for your home should be, work with you to find the best location for the boiler, determine if you will need extra radiators, and review what the installation process will require.
Third
After evaluating your home needs and personal preferences, our team will work with you to determine the best boiler option to choose from. They will explain each option in-depth and help you make the best choice possible with your new boiler heating system. Once you have decided on a boiler model, you will schedule a day to begin the installation process.
Fourth
When the scheduled day comes, our boiler installation service team will arrive at the time you made your appointment for. They will begin performing all the major steps for installing the new boiler including hooking up the pipes to the radiators throughout your home, connecting the cold and/or hot water storage tanks to the main water supply, and prepare any needed electrical wiring for your boiler to operate. They will also install any extra radiators needed during this time if your home requires them.
Finally
Our team will install the boiler heating system in the location you agreed about during your installation consultation. Once it is fully connected, we will run a diagnostic test to ensure the system is working properly. Then we will give you a thorough explanation of how to use your new boiler, review all special features and how to use them, and answer any question you have about using your new boiler.
Boiler Installation
Pro-Tip
1. Clear The Way!
Keep a clear path to where the boiler install crew will be working. Boiler systems are often large and difficult to maneuver. We need as much space as possible to replace your old heating system. Cleaning the pathway to the heater can help speed up the installation process. It also makes the area safer for us to work in if you remove all potential tripping hazards. If it is necessary for us to travel through narrow hallways or spaces to install the new boiler, remove any objects in the path or pictures on the walls.
2. Be There
If possible, free up your schedule to be sure you can be available during the times your new boiler installation is being performed. The job can take about 1 to 3 days. You will not need to do any part of the installation, but it is still best to be available during all parts of the boiler installation process. This will allow our installers an opportunity to give you a tour of your new heating system and offer you pointers on how to operate it best. Speak with us about scheduling the installation according to times that will work best for you.
3. Think Ahead
You can ensure your home is at an ideal temperature for comfort and energy efficiency, even when you are away, with a programmable thermostat. Be sure to ask about the thermostat that your new boiler includes, and find out about the Wi-Fi programmable thermostats options we have available that will allow you to control your home temperature from an app on your cell phone.
